SANDY, Utah (AP) -- City officials in Sandy are looking at going verticle as the suburb continues to grow.

The City Council is considering extending the maximum building height.

Currently, building heights are capped at 140 feet, or about 10 stories. The council is considering extending that limit to around 200 feet, or roughly 15 stories in the central busines district.

City officials say they don't think the change would lead to rapid development of skyscrapers.
