KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) — James Block, a neighbor of the Kalamazoo shooting suspect, says he knew Jason Dalton had a pistol because the two of them "talked about it." The 45-year-old Dalton was arrested today in connection with the fatal shootings Saturday of at least six people and wounding of two others at three separate locations.
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) — Uber says the man suspected of going on a western Michigan shooting rampage that left six people dead was one of its drivers. But a spokeswoman wouldn't say whether 45-year-old Jason Dalton was driving for the ride-sharing service last night when the shootings occurred in and around Kalamazoo.
LAS VEGAS (AP) — A man is in custody in connection with a deadly shooting just outside the Las Vegas casino district. Two women were killed and a man was critically wounded. Police say 30-year-old Omar Talley and the victims were among several people involved in a fistfight early Friday in a parking garage at a shopping mall on the Strip. Shooting broke out minutes after the fight.

BEIRUT (AP) — Bombings claimed by the Islamic State group in the Syrian cities of Damascus and Homs on Sunday have killed nearly 130 people. The blasts came even as Secretary of State John Kerry announced that a "provisional agreement" had been reached on a cessation of hostilities that could begin in the next few days. But Kerry also acknowledged that it's not finalized.
