Wasatch Adaptive Sports is an organization helping individuals with adaptive needs expand their potential and engage in active living through recreational, educational, and social activities. Their programs operate year round and include biking, fishing, bowling, skiing, and boarding. Wasatch Adaptive Sports focuses in the areas of acquired brain injury, stroke, amputations, spina bifida, and cerebral palsy - while also offering activities for people of all ages with medical and neurological conditions that result in mobility limitations. State-of-the-art adaptive sports equipment enables them to offer their services to individuals with any disability. They require no initial fee and provide scholarships. Their programs build strength, stamina, and self-esteem while enhancing the quality of life for all participants. Join them at Snowbird Ski Resort for the 30th Annual Steve Young Ski Classic on Saturday, March 12 to support a great cause. SelectHealth recognizes the recreational opportunities provided by Wasatch Adaptive Sports as another example of how Utah Gives Back.
