STOCKHOLM (AP) — Swedish police say they have arrested a man in the Stockholm area on suspicion of preparing terror crimes.
Fredrik Milder, a spokesman for the Swedish Security Service, said Thursday the man had been detained "on suspicion of conspiracy to commit terrorist offenses," but gave no further details about the case.
Prosecutors at the Attunda District Court, north of Stockholm, on Thursday ordered the man detained pending a police investigation. Court officials could not be reached for comment.
