NEWARK, Del. (AP) — David Cohn scored 23 points and distributed nine assists and William & Mary pulled away early in the second half to beat Delaware 94-79 on Thursday night.

Omar Prewitt had 18 points and six assists, and Terry Tarpey 16 points and nine rebounds for William & Mary (14-6, 6-3 Colonial Athletic Association). Connor Burchfield added 18 points for the Tribe.

Kory Holden made six 3-pointers and had 29 points to lead Delaware (5-15, 0-9). Cazmon Hayes had five 3s and finished with 21 points.

The Tribe led 42-38 at halftime and opened the second half on a 22-11 run to stretch their lead to 64-49 with 11 minutes remaining. Cohn made three 3-pointers and Tarpey added eight points during the span.

The Blue Hens pulled to 69-62 with seven minutes left. Greg Malinowski answered with a 3 and the Tribe led by double digits the rest of the way.
