ATLANTA (AP) — Orlando guard Victor Oladipo has been ruled out for the Magic's game at Atlanta due to a sprained knee.
With the Magic uncertain how long Oladipo will be sidelined, rookie guard Keith Appling was signed to a 10-day contract from the NBA Development League's Erie BayHawks.
Oladipo, the team's fourth-leading scorer, was injured in last week's overtime loss to Toronto in London. He stayed in the game and finished with a season-high 27 points.
Appling averaged 16.8 points and 5.6 assists in 17 games in the development league.
The Magic also recalled guard Devyn Marble from Erie.
