CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Gabriella Hanson scored 13 of her career-high 20 points in the first half and No. 12 Oregon State broke the game open in the third quarter Friday night, rolling to a 70-48 win over California.
Hansen hit 5-of-6 shots, including three 3-pointers, as the Beavers (13-3, 4-1) opened a 35-26 halftime lead. OSU missed its first two shots in the third quarter, then hit 7 of 8 while Cal was in a 2-for-13 stretch. The lead ballooned to 54-30 on a Hanson jumper at 1:25.
Jamie Weisner added 16 points, Ruth Hamblin had 15 and both had nine rebounds for the Beavers, who shot 58 percent to improve to 19-1 in their last 20 home conference games.
Courtney Range had 17 points and Kristine Anigwe 16 for the Bears (10-6, 1-4), who shot 34 percent, 26.5 in the second half when they were 2 of 11 behind the arc.
