(KSL News) Emmy award-winning composer Kurt Bestor had a different type of audience today for his music. Bestor played for the felines at the Utah Animal Adoption Center.

Bestor was practicing some of his newest melodies in the communal cat room to gain the approval of the felines before doing a benefit in their honor.

"This is the Utah Animal Adoption Center, and what they do here is pretty amazing. There are a lot of shelters in the area, but this is a non-euthanize place, which means none of these animals are going to die. However, they're all orphaned."

The benefit performance will be at La Caille on July 30.
