UNDATED (AP) — The three remaining NFL division titles were settled on the final day of the regular season. The Denver Broncos took the AFC West title and home field throughout the conference playoffs with a 27-20 win over the San Diego Chargers, and the AFC South went to the Houston Texans by virtue of a 30-6 pounding of Jacksonville. Minnesota's 20-13 win over Green Bay gives the Vikings the NFC North crown and puts the Packers into the playoffs as a wild card.

UNDATED (AP) — Ben Roethlisberger (RAWTH'-lis-bur-gur) threw for three touchdowns and the Pittsburgh Steelers grabbed the final AFC wild-card berth by beating Cleveland 28-12. But the Steelers also needed a little help from the Buffalo Bills, who beat the Jets 22-17 to eliminate New York from the postseason picture. Both the Steelers and Jets finished with 10-6 records.

UNDATED (AP) — The Cleveland Browns and San Francisco 49ers have begun their latest house cleaning. The Browns have fired head coach Mike Pettine (PEH'-tihn) and general manager Ray Farmer after two seasons and a 10-22 record, including a 3-13 mark that has landed them the second overall pick in the upcoming NFL draft. Jim Tomsula (tahm-SOO'-luh) has been let go as head coach of the Niners after going 5-11 in his lone season at the helm.

TORONTO (AP) — Jimmy Butler broke Michael Jordan's team record for points in a half yesterday, scoring 40 of his 42 after intermission to lead the Bulls to their fourth straight win, 115-113 over Toronto. Butler shot 14 of 19 in the second half after missing 3 of 4 in the first. Pau Gasol (pow gah-SAHL') had his 17th double-double of the season with 19 points and 13 rebounds as Chicago beat Toronto for the second time in a week and a seventh consecutive time overall.

SUNRISE, Fla. (AP) — The Florida Panthers have padded their lead in the NHL's Atlantic Division by extending their club-record winning streak to nine games. Jaromir Jagr (YAH'-roh-meer YAH'-gur) scored his second goal of the game with 11:08 remaining to snap a 1-1 tie in the Panthers' 2-1 triumph over Minnesota. Roberto Luongo (loh-AHN'-goh) stopped 38 shots for the Panthers, who lead their division by three points over Montreal.
