(KSL News) A very young family was killed this evening in a car crash.
The couple and their child were traveling on State Road 40 in Daniels Canyon.
They were in a Toyota Camry and attempted to pass a pick-up truck when a semi was coming the other way. The vehicles hit head on, killing the family.
There were reports that the Camry was coming down the canyon at fairly high speeds.
Cpl. Jed Jorgensen, Utah Highway Patrol: "The best reports we have are from some of the witnesses saying that the Camry was just leapfrogging down, just passing vehicles as it got opportunities."
The victims in the accident are from Pleasant Grove.
They've been identified as Bridger J. Anderson and his wife Kenalee, both 23, and their 15-month old daughter, Kenedee.
