SALT LAKE CITY — Gov. Spencer Cox will take questions from reporters Thursday during his monthly PBS Utah news conference.

The news conference is the first since the end of the recent legislative session. The governor still has until next Friday to take action on more than 500 bills that were passed during the 45-day session.

He is also likely to be asked about plans for an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility, after the agency purchased a 24.9-acre parcel of land with a warehouse on Salt Lake City's west side.

The news conference will be streamed live from the Eccles Broadcast Center on the campus of the University of Utah. It begins at 10 a.m.
