MITCHELL, S.D. (AP) — Dakota Wesleyan University says its new sports and wellness facility is nearly ready for students and the public.
The Daily Republic reports (http://bit.ly/1OU8MWs ) that the DWU/Avera Sports and Wellness Complex will be ready for students when they return from Christmas break. The Donna and Paul Christen Community Health and Fitness Center within the complex will open to the public on Monday.
A Feb. 4 grand opening is scheduled for the complex on the south side of the Mitchell campus.
The university earlier raised $10 million to build the facility.
