SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A Utah Highway Patrol trooper and another person have been hospitalized after a midnight crash in Salt Lake City.
KUTV-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1NXetTO ) that Salt Lake police say the trooper was chasing a suspect at about 12:30 a.m. when he and an uninvolved car collided. Officials say it isn't clear who hit who.
Police say the trooper had some minor injuries and the other driver was in serious condition. Both were taken to the hospital.
The suspect the trooper was chasing was able to get away.
