ABILENE, Texas (AP) — Jaylen Franklin had 18 points and six rebounds in 24 minutes on Wednesday night as Abilene Christian beat Hillsdale Free Will Baptist 90-48.

The Wildcats (5-8) never trailed after Hillsdale Baptist scored the opening basket. Abilene Christian then went on a 21-3 run, led 49-24 at halftime and scored the first 12 of the second period.

Abilene Christian had a 46-23 edge on the glass as 11 players logged at least 11 minutes. Jaren Lewis added 16 points, Parker Wentz and Duran Porter scored 12, and Austin Cooke had 10 points.

Trey Sneed was 5-of-7 shooting for 12 points and Caleb McCain was 4 of 9 for 10 points for Hillsdale Baptist. The rest of the Saints shot 9 of 37 from the field.
