HONOLULU (AP) — Aaron Valdes scored 17 points, Michael Thomas added 16 and Hawaii beat Mississippi Valley State 77-48 on Tuesday night for the Delta Devils' 14th straight loss.

Valdes had 15 points in the first quarter and Thomas made all six of his field goals for 12 points to help Hawaii build a 43-16 halftime lead. The Warriors held MVSU to 7-of-32 shooting (21.9 percent) in the first 20 minutes.

MVSU made just two field goals in the last 10 minutes of the first half and Hawaii closed on a 20-5 run, with 10 points from Thomas.

Stefan Jankovic added eight points for Hawaii (10-2), which had 12 players score.

Hawaii went on a 10-2 run early in the second half for a 33-point lead.

Vacha Vaughn scored 15 points for MVSU (0-14). The Delta Devils were outrebounded 41-31 and went 1 for 11 from 3-point range.
