CHICAGO (AP) — Chanise Jenkins had a career-high 25 points and eight assists, while Jessica January scored a season-best 21 with five assists to lead No. 25 DePaul past Marquette 91-86 Tuesday night.

Megan Podkowa finished with 11 points and 12 rebounds, her sixth double-double this season, for DePaul (9-5, 1-0 Big East). Jacqui Grant and Ashton Millender scored 10 apiece.

Erika Davenport made a layup that gave Marquette its first lead, 83-82, since the first quarter. Millender hit a 3-pointer 15 seconds later, and Jenkins and January combined to make 6 of 6 free throws to seal it.

Allazia Blockton led Marquette (5-7, 0-1) with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Davenport added 19 and 10, Amani Wilborm scored 13 and McKayla Yentz had 10 points.

DePaul made 16 of 28 (57 percent) field goals and 9 of 10 free throws in the second half.
