LONDON (AP) — Crystal Palace extended its unbeaten run in the Premier League to six matches on Monday, after being held 0-0 at Selhurst Park by struggling Swansea.
Palace went closest to opening the scoring early in the second half. Brede Hangeland met Yohan Cabaye's searching free kick with a towering header which was turned away by Swansea goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.
Modou Barrow went closest for Swansea in the 65th minute with a powerful attempt but Wayne Hennessey tipped it over the crossbar.
Palace striker Patrick Bamford then had an opening inside the penalty area but placed a tame effort straight at Fabianski as the hosts recorded a second consecutive goalless draw.
Palace is two points clear of Manchester United in fifth on 31, but United plays Chelsea later Monday. Swansea is 17th.
