KAILUA, Hawaii (AP) — The latest on President Barack Obama's annual two-week vacation in Hawaii (all times local):
11:16 p.m.
President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama have returned to their vacation rental home in Kailua for the evening.

10:38 p.m.
After more than a four-hour dinner at Hoku's restaurant in the Kahala Hotel and Resort, the president's motorcade left for the Obama family's vacation home in Kailua.

5:30 p.m.
President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama left their vacation home to have dinner at a restaurant in the Kahala Hotel and Resort in Honolulu.
The couple is dining at Hoku's, a restaurant that serves Pacific Rim fare such as Hoku's Ahi Musubi, a tuna dish with crab.
As the motorcade headed from the Obamas' vacation home to the resort, the sun set behind the Koolau Mountains. From the Pali Highway, the motorcade could see misty views of Kailua and Kaneohe.

3:20 p.m.
President Barack Obama wore flip-flops, sunglasses, dark swimming shorts and a Chicago White Sox baseball hat as he and his daughters ate shaved ice treats under a tree.
Obama later shook hands with people gathered outside the Island Snow shaved ice shop in Kailua. When asked what flavor he had ordered, Obama replied "Melon, cherry and lime."
The president spent several hours at a public beach earlier in the day. Obama stopped for about 20 minutes at Island Snow before his motorcade headed back to the family's vacation home.

President Barack Obama and his daughters, Sasha and Malia, stopped for a shaved ice treat on their way home from the beach on Sunday.
Island Snow has been a regular stop for the family during their annual vacation in Hawaii.
The store has a shaved ice concoction called the "Snowbama" that costs about $4. The mixture is lemon, lime, cherry and passion guava flavored syrups poured over a cone of shaved ice.
Many people lined up outside the store to get a glimpse of Obama, who spent several hours at a public beach earlier in the day.
Heavy rain began to fall just as the president and his family arrived at the beach at Bellows Air Force Station late Sunday morning. But the sun came out a short time later, making for a perfect Hawaii beach day.

President Barack Obama has arrived at a public beach at Bellows Air Force Station, but heavy rain began to fall, scattering other beachgoers.
Both the president and Michelle Obama were spotted in the motorcade as it headed toward the beach in Waimanalo on Oahu's east side. The area is known for its beautiful beaches and laidback vibe.
Many people waved as the motorcade wound its way toward the beach spot where the first family planned to spend the afternoon.
