LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities in Las Vegas have identified a 31-year-old California man who was shot and killed while ignoring warnings from an apartment resident who shot him through a closed front door.
Clark County coroner says Richard Rizal McGee of Huntington Beach, Calif., died after he shots came through the door about 5 a.m. Wednesday.
Police say McGee was pounding on the door and trying to force it open when he was shot.
Police haven't identified the resident of the apartment on Fort Apache Road near Sahara Avenue.
It's not immediately clear if the person will face criminal charges.
