FAIRBORN, Ohio (AP) — JT Yoho scored 19 points and Michael Karena scored 18 points, sending Wright State past Murray State 65-49 Tuesday night.

Karena scored seven of the Racers' first nine points to jump-start his team. Karena's layup, free throw and dunk in succession gave Murray State a 9-7 lead. Karena scored 14 first-half points.

Biggie Minnis' layup and Mark Alstork 3 followed by a Minnis 3 made the score 17-11 and Murray State (5-7) never looked back. Alstork and Minnis each had 10 points.

With a 36-23 lead at the break, Karena and Yoho hit jumpers to make it 40-31.

Damarcus Croaker hit a layup, Jeffrey Moss made a 3 and Wayne Langston's 3 cut the lead to 40-39 with 14:43 left. But the Raiders used a 15-3 run over the next four minutes and Murray State never threatened again.

Moss lead Murray State (5-7) with 12 points and Croaker chipped in nine.
