ATHENS, Ohio (AP) — Antonio Campbell scored a career-high 26 points with 12 rebounds and Ohio topped Arkansas-Pine Bluff 65-58 on Monday night.
Campbell was 9 of 14 from the floor, helping the Bobcats (8-3) to shoot nearly 48 percent as a team — despite making just 2 of 14 3-point attempts. Treg Setty scored 13 points with seven rebounds and Ohio outrebounded Arkansas-Pine Bluff 35-20.
Ghiavonni Robinson led UAPB (2-11) with 21 points, including four 3-pointers.
Ohio jumped out to an 11-2 lead, but both teams struggled offensively in the first half, with Ohio leading 24-19 at the break. There was one field goal — a 3-pointer by UAPB's Jaquan Lynch — in the last four minutes of the frame.
Ohio led by five with 6:16 to go, then used an 8-2 run to gain enough cushion down the stretch.
