LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. (AP) — Cyrus Alexander rallied late to win the $50,750 feature by three-quarters of a length Sunday on closing day of the winter meet at Los Alamitos.
Ridden by Martin Garcia, Cyrus Alexander ran a mile in 1:38.90 and paid $11.40, $6.60 and $3.80 as the 9-2 third choice.
Highway Boss returned $11.20 and $4, while 2-1 favorite Just Kidding was another half-length back in third and paid $2.60 to show.

Santiago Gonzalez won the jockeys' title during the 12-day meet. He finished with 14 victories, two more than Mario Gutierrez and Edwin Maldonado. Doug O'Neill won the trainers' title with eight victories.
