BRUSSELS (AP) — Belgian authorities are continuing to investigate their country's links to last month's attacks in Paris. Police are scouring a house in an area of Brussels where some of the perpetrators of the Nov. 13 attacks, included suspected ringleader Abdelhamid Abaaoud (ahb-dehl-hah-MEED' ah-bah-OOD'), had lived. An unidentified person is being held for questioning.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — Iran's deputy foreign minister says changes to a U.S. visa waiver program that now impose travel restrictions on those who visit Iran contradict the nuclear agreement between Tehran and world powers. He tells state TV the nuclear deal bars policies intended to adversely affect normalization of trade and economic relations with his country.

NEW YORK (AP) — It's a solemn anniversary for the New York City police department. One year ago, Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos were gunned down in their cruiser by an assailant who later killed himself. Hundreds of NYPD officers turned out today for a ceremony honoring their comrades. The mayor and police commissioner dedicated a plaque to the slain officers at their Brooklyn precinct.

CHICAGO (AP) — A published report says attorneys received $1.8 million of a $5 million settlement they negotiated with the city of Chicago on behalf of the family of a black teenager shot to death by a white police officer. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that's higher than the 33 percent typically earned by lawyers in such cases.

CAMARILLO, Calif. (AP) — The price of gasoline nationwide keeps dropping. The Lundberg Survey says the average price of regular gas fell 4 cents in the past two weeks, to $2.06 per gallon. That's the lowest price since April 2009. Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg attributes the drop to another nosedive in the cost of crude oil and she says prices may continue to fall.
