HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (AP) — Jalen Billups scored 17 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and blocked a pair of shots as Northern Kentucky kept Southeast Missouri winless to start the season, 79-69 Saturday night.

Drew McDonald converted three of four from the free throw line to end the first half and send the Norse into intermission with a nine-point lead, 39-30.

Cole Murray added 12 points and Lavone Holland II and Dean Danos each added another 10 points for Northern Kentucky (3-6).

The Redhawks now have lost 11 straight games away from Cape Girardeau, including the final three road games of the 2014-15 Ohio Valley Conference road games and a tournament game with Morehead State. Southeast Missouri's last road win was a 70-64 victory over Austin Peay on January 31, 2015.

Isiah Jones scored 21 points to lead Southeast Missouri (0-10), Joel Angus III adding 16 and Antonius Cleveland 13.
