Police ID woman hit, killed by car in North Ogden

NORTH OGDEN — The woman who died after being struck by a car in North Ogden Thursday evening was identified by police Friday.

Tamara Williams, a 50-year-old Brigham City resident, died at the scene of the accident, according to the North Ogden Police Department. She was crossing 400 East at 2381 North when she was hit at about 5:40 p.m.

Police initially reported that Williams was 45 years old, but later corrected their statement.
