CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for March delivery was 10.5 cents higher at $4.9450 a bushel; March corn was 3.75 cents higher at $3.78 a bushel; March oats were 2 cents higher at $2.30 a bushel; while March soybeans rose 9.50 cents to 8.8725 a bushel.
Beef and pork were higher the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
February live cattle was 3 cents higher at $1.25525 a pound; January feeder cattle was 4.5 cents higher at $1.4875 a pound; February lean hogs gained 1.425 cents to $.5720 a pound.
