PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Antoine Pittman scored 11 points to help Bradley snap a nine-game skid with a 61-53 win over Maryville on Thursday night.

Donte Thomas, Luuk van Bree and Scottie James added nine points apiece for Bradley (2-9), which hit 19 of its 45 shots from the field (42 percent) and controlled the boards 34-28. Pittman was 3 of 5 from the floor, including 2 of 3 from behind the arc.

Maryville, a Division II program, jumped out to an early 14-5 lead in the first half, getting 3-pointers from Marvin Grant-Clark and Saikou Jallow in the run. But the Braves stormed back with 19 unanswered points, including Pittman's go-ahead 3-pointer, to take the lead for good and carry a 34-21 advantage into the break.

The Saints narrowed the gap in the second half but Bradley hung on.

Jallow paced Maryville with 14 points and Grant-Clark finished with 11.
