ST. LOUIS (AP) — Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Chris Conte injured his left knee in the second half against St. Louis on Thursday night and his return is questionable.
Conte appeared to get tangled up with another Tampa Bay defender on Tavon Austin's 21-yard touchdown run that put St. Louis ahead 28-6 on Thursday night. He was down for several minutes before being helped off the field.
Buccaneers backup defensive end Kortnei Brown was ruled out with a groin injury at the start of the second half.
It was unclear when Brown was injured. He was listed as the third string at right defensive end on the flip chart. He played in his third straight game.
