NEW YORK (AP) — Actress and author Jamie Lee Curtis and "Captain Underpants" creator Dav Pilkey will be among the children's writers speaking at next spring's BookExpo America, the annual publishing convention.
BookExpo organizers told The Associated Press on Thursday that "An Ember in the Ashes" writer Sabaa Tahir and former National Book Award nominee Gene Luen Yang also be featured at the author breakfast to be held May 13 in Chicago. Curtis, whose "This is Me: A Story of Who We Are & Where We Came From" comes out in September, will serve as master of ceremonies.
The convention takes place May 11-13 at Chicago's McCormack Place.
