LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. (AP) — Street Fancy rallied to win the $301,000 Starlet for 2-year-old fillies by one length Saturday at Los Alamitos.
Ridden by Hall of Famer Mike Smith, Street Fancy ran 1 1/16 miles in 1:44.42 and paid $14.60, $5.20 and $3.80.
Stays in Vegas returned $4.60 and $3.80. Sutton's Smile was another three lengths back in third and paid $8.80 to show at 32-1 odds. Phil D'Amato trains the winner and the third-place finisher.
