OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — Police at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh are investigating a suspicious fire in a dormitory.
Firefighters responded to Fletcher Hall Monday afternoon. They were able to keep the fire contained to the basement.
Students were evacuated. Residents allowed back an hour and a half later.
WLUK-TV (http://bit.ly/1R8xJn4 ) reports the fire was the second reported in that residence hall in 48 hours. University officials say there was a report Monday, but when officials arrived the fire was already out. That fire also was in the basement of Fletcher Hall.
