(KSL News) Taylorsville police arrested two people overnight accused of stealing cars.
Investigators believe the men may be connected to a bigger car theft ring.

Police tracked down the men in Taylorsville. But when officers tried to pull them over, they took off. Officers chased them through the valley until they crashed into a parked car and spun out of control at I-15 and 21st South.
No one was hurt.
An undercover officer told us thieves are targeting car dealerships.
Undercover Police Officer: "The car theives are going down there and they're using a screw driver or an electric drill. They're actually just punching out the lock box. They take the keys to these vehicles. It takes a week or two weeks for these dealerships to realize the cars are gone off their lot before they're reported stolen."
Authorities say the thieves use the stolen cars to commit other crimes, such as burglaries.
