(KSL News) If you want to get away this holiday weekend but think it's too late to find anything, Utah State Parks has some good news. Over a dozen state parks still have campsites available.
Antelope Island, Dead Horse Point, Escalante, Goblin Valley, Green River, Kodachrome, Quail Creek, Red Fleet, Sand Hollow, Snow Canyon, Steinaker, Starvation, Painted Rock and beach areas at Yuba still have campsites available.
It's too late to make reservations, so the campsites are available on a first-come first-served basis.
You might want confirm availability before you head-out. The park service recommends calling the parks directly.
