SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Next time you go to Salt Lake City's Liberty Park, you may want to bring your laptop and surf the web.
Starting today, free wireless Internet service is available at the park. However, it's only available in the southern half of the park. Services will be expanded to the rest of the park later on.
The free service is made possible by XMission, a local Internet-service provider. The company paid for the installation of antennas around the park to carry the service.
XMission also provides free Internet service to other areas of downtown Salt Lake. They include Pioneer Park, Salt Lake City Library, the Gallivan Center and Main Street.
