(KSL News) Timmy Olsen's attorney says his client will likely appeal his guilty verdict.
Olsen was convicted on 15 charges of perjury for lying to federal agents about the disappearance of Spanish Fork teenager, Kiplyn Davis.
It's unclear what impact a pending appeal would have on Olsen's murder trial scheduled for this fall.
If Olsen does appeal, it won't take place until after he is sentenced for perjury September 29th.
A prosecutor in Olsen's murder case plans to request Olsen's presence in a Provo courtroom immediately after his federal sentencing.
