SANDPOINT, Idaho (AP) — A former land use planner in northern Idaho has filed a lawsuit against Bonner County after being fired.
The Bonner County Daily Bee reports (http://bit.ly/1MqQI9x) that the attorney for Dan Carlson filed the lawsuit Wednesday in 1st District Court.
Carlson says he was railroaded from his job and is suing to get the job back.
He says Bonner County commissioners violated Idaho's open meeting law when deciding to fire him.
He also says he was denied a right to be heard after commissioners notified him he could be fired.
