PARK CITY — Police are investigating the theft of approximately $50,000 worth of coats from a fur shop in Park City.
The coats were stolen from the Alaska Fur Gallery on Park City's Main Street at about 3:24 a.m. Oct. 22, according to the Park City Police Department. Investigators released surveillance images from the burglary Thursday.
A man allegedly smashed out the window of the store's front door before taking an unknown number of coats, according to police. They described the alleged burglar as being a bald, white man who has facial hair.
Police said a woman, who was described as having white skin and blond hair, was in a Honda Odyssey that served as a getaway car. The van had a black spoiler above the rear window and a rear wiper arm facing down, according to police. It is believed to be a 2002 to 2004 model.
