(KSL News) The ZCMI facade from the old ZCMI Center will remain in downtown Salt Lake as part of the City Creek Center development project.
Last night, the city's Historic Landmark Commission approved the developers' plans to use the facade as the new storefront for Macy's.
Developers needed the commission's approval because the facade is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It's been part of our downtown since the 1870s.
