BAYSIDE HIGH — Social media blew up over the weekend, and it wasn't just because of Utah's dominating 62-20 win over Oregon on Saturday night in Eugene.

Apparently, when you mix fans of the NFL, Houston Texans and the popular early '90s TV classic "Saved by the Bell," magic happens.

Here's the story, as well as a few other notable moments from the weekend in sports.

J.J. Watt has a celebrity crush

Houston defensive menace J.J. Watt hung out with former Bayside High quarterback A.C. Slater … er, Mario Lopez before the Texans' game against Tampa Bay on Sunday. Then he asked the question Lopez probably gets a lot: Where is Kelly Kapowski?

This caused Kapowski herself … er, Tiffani Thiessen to respond in kind on Instagram. It turns out, she's a fan of a certain Texans playmaker herself.

Our thoughts exactly, J.J.

Michigan's Jake Butt has the best family

When your last name is "Butt," you learn to deal with a lot of jokes throughout your life — and Michigan tight end Jake Butt has been a classy professional when opposing players, fans and even media bring it up.

He must get it from his family.

The Butts (it feels weird to type that) posted the following photo to several family members' social media accounts, showing off their personalized jerseys and shirts with a unique last name.

The tight end's family includes relatives such as "Nice Butt," "Kick Butt" and "Black Butt."

Jake Butt most have felt inspired by his family and so were his Wolverines. Butt had a 41-yard catch in Michigan's 31-0 rout of then-No. 22 BYU on Saturday afternoon in the Big House.

Syracuse's punter is cooler than your punter

Syracuse punter Riley Dixon showed off his athleticism on one of head coach Scott Shafer's trick play calls, running for a first down by hurdling over a defender — and then getting a bit too excited after the play.

Dixon's Orange fell to Louisiana State, 34-24 on Saturday afternoon — but the highlight of the game wasn't LSU running back Leonard Fornette's second-straight 200-yard rushing game. It was a notable Louisiana native — and Utah Jazz alum — and his phone from the stands of the Carrier Dome.

Don't worry, Jazz fans; Malone isn't the only one who still rocks the '90s-era mobile technology.

GameDay sign of the week ========================

As is fast becoming a tradition at KSL Sports, we'll add this one to our favorite ESPN College GameDay signs of the week. This week, it isn't a sign, but it is a time-honored tradition remaining untouched.

From Saturday's episode in Tucson, Arizona, ahead of UCLA's win over the home Wildcats, another Pac-12 foe upheld a long tradition of making an appearance.

After ESPN spread the news that "Ol' Crimson" — Washington State's school flag that had made every GameDay show for 166-straight games — was lost in transit, Wazzu fans showed up en masse to make sure the tradition lived on.
