Jazz Announce 2008 Rocky Mountain Revue Schedule

SALT LAKE CITY (July 1, 2008) - Utah Jazz general manager Kevin O'Connor announced the 2008 Rocky Mountain Revue schedule today. The Revue, presented by StoresOnline, will take place at the Lifetime Activities Center located on the Redwood Campus of Salt Lake Community College from July 18-25.

Eight teams will participate in this year's Revue, headlined by the Utah Jazz which expects to have 2008 first-round pick Kosta Koufos on its roster as well as returning Jazzmen Morris Almond and Kyrylo Fesenko. Joining the Jazz this summer will be the Atlanta Hawks, Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors, New Jersey Nets, San Antonio Spurs, along with a D-League All-Star team and the 2007 FIBA Asian Champion.

Team rosters will be comprised of rookies, second-year players and select free agents. Players expected to appear in the Revue this year include 2008 lottery picks Brook Lopez (Nets) and Anthony Randolph (Warriors), first-round picks Ryan Anderson (Nets) and George Hill (Spurs). Other notables include Al Horford and Acie Law IV of Atlanta, Marco Belinelli and Brandan Wright of Golden State, and Chris Douglas-Roberts of New Jersey.

The 2008 Revue marks the 11th straight year the Mavericks have participated in the Jazz summer league while the Spurs return for the sixth straight year and the Hawks for the fifth time in-a-row. The Warriors are making their sixth appearance in the Revue, but their first since 1997, while the Nets are making their Revue debut this year.

The opening game of the Revue will tip-off at 4:30 p.m. MT on Friday, July 18 with the Mavericks taking on the Hawks. Jazz fans will then get their first look at Kosta Koufos as the Jazz host the Spurs at 7 p.m. MT.

Games will be played Friday, July 18 through Friday, July 25; no games will be played on Sunday, July 20 or Wednesday, July 23. There will be two games per day on the opening and closing nights of the Revue (July 18, 25), with three games per day (2:15 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 7 p.m.) on July 19, 22 and 24, and four games on July 21. The Jazz host the Mavericks in the Revue's final game on Friday, July 25 at 7 p.m. (See attached for the complete schedule).

Tickets are $10 with a special $8 ticket price available for Salt Lake Community College students and faculty (must show valid SLCC I.D.). For each game ticket purchased for Revue games on July 21, 22 and 24, fans will receive a free ticket to a Salt Lake Bees game on either July 27, 28 or 29.
