LOS ANGELES (AP) — Nearly 15-years after a four-year-old girl plunged to her death from a 120-foot seaside cliff, her father is scheduled to be sentenced today to life in prison without parole. Jurors found Cameron Brown, a former airline baggage handler, guilty of hurling the girl from the cliff during a visit in 2000 amid a bitter custody dispute with her mother. The conviction came about a dozen years after Brown's arrest. There were two previous trials. Brown told police the girl tripped and fell.
