JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — North Florida basketball coach Matthew Driscoll has agreed to a four-year extension, keeping him under contract through the 2021-22 season.

Athletic director Lee Moon announced the deal Wednesday, saying "Coach Driscoll is very deserving of this contract extension and I am thrilled to have him continue leading our basketball program for many more seasons."

The Ospreys are coming off their most successful season. They finished 23-12, including a 12-2 mark in the Atlantic Sun Conference, and earned the program's first NCAA Tournament berth.

North Florida, which won the Atlantic Sun regular-season title and the tournament championship, returns four starters and seven of its top nine players from last season.

UNF has notched double-digit wins in each of Driscoll's six seasons, including a 39-28 mark the past two years.
