The files include information about Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton's hiring of longtime aide Huma Abedin as a special government contract staffer. The department provided only seven pages of emails to the AP.

PASCO, Wash. (AP) — A prosecutor says three police officers in Washington state who fatally shot a rock-throwing Mexican immigrant in February will not face criminal charges. The death of 35-year-old Antonio Zambrano-Montes sparked months of protests. Witnesses said Zambrano-Montes fought with an officer, threw rocks and told officers to shoot him before they opened fire.
BALTIMORE (AP) — Police in Baltimore are preparing for demonstrators tomorrow at the second pretrial hearing in the case against six officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray. Gray died last April, a week after the 25-year-old black man suffered a critical spinal injury while in police custody. His death prompted protests and rioting that shook the city and caused millions of dollars in damage.
PHOENIX (AP) — Arizona authorities are investigating a string of highway shootings that have rattled nerves and heightened fears of a possible serial shooter. In the latest development, a truck's passenger window shattered on a Phoenix freeway. Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the glass was shot out. Nobody was hurt.
