WASHINGTON (AP) — The State Department has failed to turn over nearly 70 pages of documents, as instructed by a federal judge, to The Associated Press. The files include information about Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton's hiring of longtime aide Huma Abedin as a special government contract staffer. The department provided only seven pages of emails to the AP.

WASHINGTON (AP) — On Capitol Hill, the Senate is debating the Iran nuclear deal, with Republicans denouncing it while Democrats are defending it. Outside the Capitol building, GOP presidential candidates Donald Trump and Ted Cruz headlined a rally where they called the agreement a bad deal.

PASCO, Wash. (AP) — A prosecutor says three police officers in Washington state who fatally shot a rock-throwing Mexican immigrant in February will not face criminal charges. Witnesses said Zambrano-Montes fought with an officer, threw rocks and told officers to shoot him before they opened fire.

BALTIMORE (AP) — Police in Baltimore are preparing for demonstrators tomorrow at the second pretrial hearing in the case against six officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray. His death prompted protests and rioting that shook the city and caused millions of dollars in damage.

PHOENIX (AP) — Arizona authorities are investigating a string of highway shootings that have rattled nerves and heightened fears of a possible serial shooter.
