KAYSVILLE — The Davis High School girl's soccer team was ranked No. 6 in the nation by USA Today High School Sports when the news outlet released its latest poll Tuesday.

The Darts (8-0) jumped into the rankings on the back of wins over Lone Peak, Bountiful, Snow Canyon, Maple Mountain, Granger, West, Hunter and Syracuse. Davis has outscored its opponents 57-2 in its first eight matches, with six shutouts.

The Darts are also ranked first in the USA Today Super 25 regional rankings for Region VI, which includes California, Utah, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, South Dakota and Washington. Skyline (7-0) is ranked ninth in the region.

Davis is led by BYU commits Olivia Wade (15 goals) and Mikayla Colohan (four goals), as well as Utah-bound Ireland Dunn (eight goals).
