CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) — Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton says she doesn't think that lingering questions about her email practices while secretary of state have damaged her presidential campaign. During a Labor Day campaign swing through Iowa, Clinton said she need not apologize for using a private email account and server while she was at the State Department because she did what was "allowed."
PITTSBURGH (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden got some shouts of encouragement as he marched in Pittsburgh's annual Labor Day parade. Amid speculation he might enter the Democratic presidential race, Biden heard chants of "Run, Joe, run." One woman called out: "Give it a go, Joe!"
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Attorneys for Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk who refuses to sign off on same-sex marriage licenses, are working to get her freed from jail. They've filed an emergency motion seeking a religious accommodation for Davis, who's been behind bars since Thursday.
SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — North and South Korea have agreed to reunions next month of families separated by the Korean War, but it's not a certainty. Planned reunions in 2013 were scrapped because of North Korean anger in part over its claims the South was trying to overthrow its government.
BEIJING (AP) — The Chinese government has held a ceremony marking 50 years since it established Tibet as an ethnic autonomous region. During Tuesday's ceremony, China lauded its economic successes while activists criticized its record on human rights.
