DENVER (AP) — Shortstop Brandon Crawford, sidelined the past three games by a calf injury, returned to the San Francisco Giants' starting lineup Friday night against Colorado.

Crawford suffered the injury Monday when he was hit by pitch during a game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

He had just returned from a five-game absence due to tightness in his left oblique muscle when a pitch from Chris Hatcher struck his right calf.
