A major marajuina growing operation has been uncovered in California.

More than 35,000 pot plants were removed from the foothills of the Sierra Summit.

Sheriff's deputies had to remove the plants with a helicopter because they were so deep in the mountainous terrain.

Kern County officials say they ripped out more than 150,000 bundles of pot this year alone, and have made four arrests.
