(KSL News) A fire damaged two homes in Park City's historic downtown area this morning.
A passerby called 911 just after 6 a.m. saying there was smoke coming from one of the homes near 700 Norfolk Drive.
By the time fire crews had arrived, everyone inside the home had gotten out safely, and flames were spreading to the house next door. Crews tried to fight the fire from inside the homes, but dangerous conditions forced them to retreat.
One house is a complete loss; the other sustained damage to the attic. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
