(KSL News) A teenager who went for a hike this morning certainly felt the effects of the heat.
He went hiking in the Lone Peak area this morning. He thought he took enough water, but became dehydrated. So he called search and rescue on his cell phone.
They found him, and have been walking him down the trail to a medical helicopter.
Also today, a 53-year-old woman suffered multiple injuries when she fell 200 feet while hiking on Mt. Timpanogos. She was transported to the hospital by a medical helicopter.
