Man killed after getting hit by motorhome in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — A man has died after he was hit by a motorhome in downtown Salt Lake City.

Authorities say the incident happened around 9 p.m. Saturday as the motorhome was making a right turn from 500 South onto 500 West.

According to Salt Lake Police, the driver felt the vehicle hit something and stopped to investigate.

The driver found the male victim, who was in the crosswalk when he was struck.

He was later pronounced dead.

Police have not identified him but say he is between the ages of 30 and 40.

Police are still investigating.

It was not known if any charges would be filed.
